WCHS Concurrent Credit Opportunities with George Fox University and Northwest Nazarene University

At Westside Christian High School (WCHS), we are committed to providing our students with exceptional educational opportunities that prepare them for future academic and career success. One of the ways we achieve this is through our valuable partnerships with George Fox University and Northwest Nazarene University, which allow our students to earn college credit while still in high school. For $75 per college credit hour, students may realistically complete over a full year’s worth of college credit by the time they graduate from Westside.

Westside’s Concurrent Credit Program FAQ

Q: By taking one of these classes, are students dual-enrolled at a college?
答:没有, students are only enrolled at Westside.  They are not admitted to any of the colleges offering concurrent credit for classes taught at Westside.
 
Q: When applying to college do I include credits earned through Westside’s concurrent credit classes?
答:没有, you should only include those classes listed on your Westside transcript.
 
Q: Are there additional requirements for the class if I register for Concurrent Credit?
答:没有, expectations for students in the class remain the same whether or not they choose to register for concurrent credit.
 
Q: Does credit show up on my Westside transcript?
A: Only high school credit shows up on your Westside transcript.  College credits will be listed on the transcript you request from the respective concurrent credit provider.
 
Q: If the concurrent credit comes from an AP class, do I need to take the AP test?
答:没有, taking an AP test is not a requirement for concurrent credit nor the GPA weighting offered by Westside.
